Nancy Boyda is supporting her leadership. Her leadership wants to make it easier to raise taxes. They want to eliminate the 3/5ths requirement to raise taxes, saying now only a simple majority vote will be needed to raise taxes.
Does anyone remember Boyda's commercials where she said, "I'm not going to raise your taxes?" Maybe for time she had to cut, "but I'll vote to make it a whole lot easier to raise them."
