Can't Blame 'Em

According to the Cap Journal, Nancy Boyda to those losing jobs in Topeka, "oh well."

"Second District Rep. Nancy Boyda, D-Kan., said she couldn't blame Cardinal Brands for sending jobs to Mexico. "

This is complete indifference to those losing their jobs.

Then she went on to take the Democrat line of blaming U.S. trade policies for giving incentives to move jobs to Mexico. Instead of putting barriers up to trade, why not lower barriers for manufacturers here at home. People are in business to make money. The United States has one of the highest corporate tax rates in the western world. Maybe we should think about cutting those first as an incentive for companies to keep jobs here.

Perhaps Ms. Nancy would like to join this company on their trip.

Ms. Nancy?

You must mean Congresswoman Boyda.

The occasion sign of respect, however slight, might give you the appearance of level-headedness.

Unless you like looking like partisan blinded by vitriolic ideological resentment.

What I want to know is, how come the Capital-Journal couldn't find a direct quote? And how many commenters going by "anonymous" are there, anyway?
Hey, I'm just askin'...

The cap journal never produced a direct quote from Jim Ryun saying he didn't know Mark Foley either, but that didn't keep them from printing it . . . bottom line, their journalism sucks . . . but Boyda needs to take the bad with the gift she got last fall.
