We're Being Watched

According to this Politico story out of Washington, Boyda continues to remain a target and the Republican primary a point of intense interest. The article recaps the recent Club for Growth release pointing out Jenkins record on voting for tax increases, and the Main Street Partnership's quotes saying Ryun is practically a felon.

In fairness, while Jenkins was considered a moderate in the legislature, she didn't just vote for tax increases and she was generally well liked by her colleagues. At the same time, while Ryun had the misfortune of buying a house across the street from someone who turned out to be a lowlife in DC, he is the straightest arrow you can find and trying to make him out to be a corrupt politician is quite a stretch.

But, barring the exit of one of these two candidates from the race, it looks like this is what we're going to hear for the next 14 months.

What about the house deal? Wouldn't you call that corruption?

Don't forget that Jim Ryun was close to Tom Delay. Delay was the personification of congressional corruption. Ryun also endorsed Adam Taff ... who went to prison for mortgag fraud. Let's see Delay, Taff, Foley ... that's not what I'd call a straight arrow.
