Boyda and Big Bad Republicans

Nancy Boyda says Republicans are going to "grind Congess to a halt this fall" according to this audio from the K-State Collegian. Dear Nancy, Democrats control both the House and the Senate. No excuses please (you didn't allow any last fall when Republicans were in charge, so you're not allowed to use them now).

Thanks to Josh for the tip.

This is stupid...it is, certainly, because of the Republicans in the Senate that action is happening....

even you Boyda-haters would happily admit the Democrat's agenda is being prevented by the Republicans in the Senate...you KNOW that and are PROUD of that.

you don't WANT the Democrats to be able to do anything, right? So this is good for you people, right?

OK then you'd admit that the Democrats in the Senate stopped anything from getting done last year when Republicans were in control? Nancy Boyda blamed the Republican majority then for inaction. She can't have it both ways. I think that's what the post is referring to.

The Democrats need to learn to compromise like the Republicans had to in the senate. The Dems expanded the 60 votes to pass anything. Now they are paying the price.

really the only thing being held up is issues relating to the war...other than that, things are going OK...and the R's are being obstructionists when it comes to the war

Well the D's were obstructionists last year on pretty much everything, including all the spending bills - which resulted in Ft. Riley losing a bunch of money - something Nancy Boyda blamed on Republicans. She didn't have the decency to say it, but Democrats were blocking everything to make Republicans look bad last year. Now that Republicans are doing it, she's still blaming them. It's hypocritical on her part.

that's not the case, poster...the R's in the HOUSE didn't pass the spending bills...the D's in the Senate never had the option to be obstructionists.

if you want to talk judges, fine, the D's held them up...but don't make up stuff, you just look stupid

And the D's just lost Florida...what a bunch of idiots.

oh yes, because Democratic Primary voters (i.e. crazy liberals) who are upset with the national party will vote for the Republican Presidential nominee....

right then...i'm sure Kansas R's are also going to vote for Hillary because they're angry Sammy didn't get the nod

The House passed all but one of their spending bills in 2006. Don't lie, it destroys your credibility.
