“I commend KU on their season,” said Rep. Kenny Hulshof, R-Columbia. “It
was almost as good as the Missouri Tigers’ spectacular season.”
He said that “in the spirit of compromise,” he had intended to cast a ‘yes’
vote but “found myself physically unable to do it as I reached for the lever.
Besides, all the votes in the world won’t make the #7 higher than the #4.”
He voted “present,” as did the state’s other lawmakers. Despite the
protest, the measure passed, 396 to 21.
Oh well. But, the bigger question is, does K-State appreciate Boyda stepping out for KU since the Wildcats are in the Second District, not the Jayhawks?

Hey, smart guy, tThe Congressional line splits the KU campus in half.
When K-State wins the Orange Bowl I bet she'll honor their achievement, too.
No it doesn't. A small portion of West Campus is in the 2nd District. The vast majority of KU is in the 3rd District.
Iowa is the line. The Dole Center and intramural fields are in the 2nd. I don't know what Boyda has against KSU, but she has always tried to align herself with KU in the past two elections. Is she just trying to get her name in the journal world? Or is she just that dumb?
Yep. bounce boyda is right, nearly all of KU is in the second.
This was Dennis Moore's resolution to do, of course, as with nearly everything else, the old empty suit in the 3rd is doing nothing.
my god..they've managed to attack two members of congress because one did something nice.
i love politics!
KU - generally more a liberal community
K-State - generally a more conservative community
Is it any wonder Boyda aligns herself with KU?
