Nancy Boyda raised 52% (that's more than half) of her campaign contributions outside of Kansas. Her ability to claim she's running an independent, grassroots, Kansas-based campaign is officially over.
Please make your local newspaper aware of this fact.
Also, if you hadn't heard, the Kansas Republican Party has enlisted the help of hundreds of volunteers to distribute flyers at post offices across the Second District outlining Nancy Boyda's support of higher taxes as we're filing ours. If you see a volunteer today, give them a honk and a thumbs up.
Dedicated to the proposition that Nancy Boyda is a one termer.

Well, Ryun's raised 94% of his money out of district...

Boyda raised 48% in District
Ryun raised 4%
Please, you're assuming NONE of Ryun's small dollar contributors are from Kansas. Are you really saying that hoping other people are too stupid to notice or are you too stupid to notice.
Ryun should clear this up by reporting his total percentage from Kansas donors.
regardless of how much of ryun's small dollars are from kansas...boyda did MUCH better than he did.
I'd love all candidates to release and reveal at least the amount and percentage of donations from in-district, in-state and out-of-state donations.
Yeah, I don't think Ryun has been running around saying he won't take money outside of KS and that he won't take DC money or PAC money. I think he's always been pretty open about that. I do think he needs to focus more on KS donors, though.
Boyda, on the other hand, has been saying nothing but the fact that she will not take money outside of KS. Hypocrite.
Is there a copy of the tax flier available?
I know the party has it on pdf. Get in touch with HQ and they can probably e-mail it to you.
