Boyda-ocrisy Breaking News - Anti-Kansas Action

This blog has documented many ways in which Boyda seems to have abandoned her so-called independence. She's sought after help from national democrats in fundraising after saying she wouldn't. She votes with the most liberal speaker in history over 95% of the time. Etc, etc, etc.

Now there's this curious item found today on the FEC website. (Thanks to the reader who noted the link wasn't working, so here's the URL http://query.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/dcdev/forms/C00392084/293230/) Nancy Boyda has designated a bank in Tampa, Florida as her agent to accept campaign contributions.

That just plain doesn't make sense. Why, after all she said in the campaign about putting Kansas first, would she move her money elsewhere? Why help employers in Florida instead of Kansas? Why help the Florida economy over Kansas.

I'm curious as to what the excuse is for this one.

uhhh...Ryun has a bank in VA...and there are at least Bank of America branches here in KS. Just sayin'.

It would be better if she went with a KS bank like Intrust or something like that, but why would Mr. "I'm now a full time Kansan" Ryun keep a bank account there for his campaign?

Why the hell would Ryun use a Virginia bank? That's terrible. I think that Ryun should transfer his account to a Kansas bank.

The Kansas Bankers Association should be interested in fact that Ryun refuses to use Kansas bank. Jenkins has worked well with bankers as State Treasurer. I would guess that the bankers wouldn't have any hesitation to support Jenkins after this stunt.

The out-of-state bank scandal is going to do significant damage to Ryun's campaign. This might be the beginning of the end of his candidacy.

The Ryuns are all DC. The Ryuns aren't really Kansans anymore.

Check your sources boy...the Ryun campaign account is with a Topeka bank.

national Bank of America offices are in Tampa Florida as well as some in Georiga - I've seen Boyda in the B of A office in downtown topeka all the time so my assumption is that on FEC reports you have to report the national bank office which again - according to the wiki site I looked up shows the B of A towers in Tampa as well as Charlotte, Atlanta, and DC.

wow. dumbest blog post ever.

Like bankers really need the f***ing money anyway.

i know she banks in Topeka at the Bank of America in downtown.

If she banks at B of A in Topeka, why not list the Topeka branch then? My guess is because she has some fundraising firm based in Florida working for her.

Both Ryun and Boyda use BofA which Jim Cates ought to know because BoA caters to illegal aliens. Not smart for either of them.

This illegal alien scandal is going to do significant damage to Ryun's campaign. This might be the beginning of the end of his candidacy.

Ryun does NOT use Bank of America for his campaign.

Anonymous said...

Idiot, check his first quarter report or his reports from his 06 campaign. BofA is all over it.

That's a Bank of America credit card, not where he keeps his campaign account (the subject of the post). His main campaign account is at Commerce Bank in Topeka.

My comment was he uses BofA, which you just confirmed. Credit card or not it is still BofA. Also he uses a Virginia bank for deposits as well. Access Bank in Virginia. One of Ryun's fund raising letters had contributions sent to a DC address probably for deposit in the Virginia bank. This is all on his statement of organization for his 2008 campaign on the FEC website. Check it out.

Um...Which illegal alien scandal was this? That Mr. Ryun is doing business with Bank of America (assuming he is doing business with them)? And how will that end his candidacy while leaving unaffected the aspirations of Mrs. Boyda (Democrat, Kansas), when she uses the same bank? Is it all the hugs?
Explain, please.

Listen to Jim Cates on 1440 and see what his conservative listeners think of BofA

Anonymous said...

I think the point is that BofA in Florida is where Nancy is banking. Ryun is banking in Kansas. I assume the DC/VA banks/accounts are for his DC PAC fundraiser.

Anonymous said...

No the issue is that BofA has a marketing campaign aimed at getting illegal immigrants bank accounts. It was a big topic on conservative talk radio in Kansas about 6 months ago.

I think the real point is that this blog took a shot at Boyda when Ryun was equally guilty.

Anonymous said...

Ryun was not equally guilty. He still maintains his Topeka bank account as his primary campaign account. Boyda has designated BofA in Florida as her primary bank account. That's a BIG difference.

Even if Mr. Ryun is equally guilty, and there's some question about whether he is, how does doing business with a bank that openly courts illegal aliens hurt him more than it hurts Mrs. Boyda (Democrat, Kansas)?
