I haven't had time yet to fully digest all the FEC reports that came in Friday evening through Sunday, however, I wanted to point out a few small items that the three candidates wouldn't want to use as press release headers from their reports.
There is a substantial amount of her money from DC special interest PACs and DC lobbyists. 36% of her take was just from PACs and I'll be doing the math on the DC lobbyists later today. This runs counter to her claims of not wanting DC money.
Boyda also took a $400 cash contribution (a big FEC no-no) and had to return it. That one may red flag a fine for her from the FEC, we'll have to wait and see.
I saw no mention of the $101,231.75 loan Jenkins made to the campaign. That was fully 1/3rd of $300K she claimed to have raised last quarter. The money she actually raised comes out to $200,394. Also, in a brief look at Jenkins expenditures, there aren't any payments to the person who claimed to be her campaign manager. Maybe she's getting volunteer labor, or maybe he just agreed to a deferred compensation plan.
Ryun has an $85,000 debt for what was quite possibly the biggest prospecting direct mail fundraising piece of all time. That means his cash on hand is closer to $215,000.
Dedicated to the proposition that Nancy Boyda is a one termer.
