Boyda-Pelosi?

I've received a couple comments asking who is "Nancy Boyda-Pelosi?" Just to be clear, from now on I will refer to "Nancy Boyda" as "Nancy Boyda-Pelosi" to remind people that our U.S. Representative sides with San Francisco values over 90% of the time AND that our Representative has agreed to accept financial support from the most liberal Speaker of all time's political network.

For example, Nancy Boyda-Pelosi voted to adjourn Congress for two weeks without providing funding for our veterans. Nancy Boyda-Pelosi campaigned on taking care of our veterans, but 49 days after the end of the 2007 fiscal year, Boyda-Pelosi has still failed to keep her promises.

I'm not sure what you mean. She did keep her promise about veterans. Do you actually read the news, ever read press releases?

Boyda-Pelosi just makes you look like a loser. Let's at least have a little respect for the people we slander...just a little?

luckily it's just making you more and more useless...and less credible. Isn't, or shouldn't, your objective be to someday be mention in "real" media? They won't- ever- if you keep up this stuff.

So Boyda Bloc is objective and news worthy? Press releases are all spin and the papers basically just print the press releases they want to. Ryun issued press releases, the paper just chose not to print them. Boyda farts and it gets printed. Believing what the paper prints is as bad as believing everything blogs print.

When the validity of your arguments suffers buttress it with a fallacy.

In this case, a textbook guilt by association. It just goes to prove that you can't argue on the merits, and you know it.

u r uzine 2 big a wordz for me brain to no

However it is not a fallacy, papers only print the press releases they want to. Are you telling me that papers print all press releases? Many elected officials send press release after press release and nothing gets printed, Boyda seems to get everyone of hers printed, newsworthy or not. It is a fallacy that news is not biased. Look at Fox news, Topeka Capital, KC Star etc.

what paper are you reading, anonymous #3 and 5? I know that my paper the Mercury almost never prints anything about Boyda, unless it's negative. Anyone can look at roll call votes to see if Boyda has kept her promise to veterans...and she has. Roll calls do not lie. ever.

Her campaign reports sure show she lies.

in the end...the idea isn't ever to be objective..it's a partisan blog for cripes sakes....but you have to report things in a journalistic style...even if it opinion page style...the farther blogs move from being like papers the less they matter

Blue Tide Rising has evidence directly linking Stay Red Kansas to the Kansas Republican Party.

Really??? And Blue Tide Rising I am sure that you have no ties to the Kansas Democratic Party.

Is this Boyda-Pelosi insult catching on anywhere? In my opinion Nancy Pelosi isn't a big enough name for her to bring down Boyda. Sure, rabid right-wingers probably enjoy it, but I think that it flies over the heads of the average voters. Maybe if you equate her with Teddy Kennedy or John Kerry you'd have something.

naw...calling her "Nancy Boyda-Kennedy" would make too many people think of JFK...and people like him (for some reason).

How about "Nancy Boyda-McGovern" or "Nancy Boyda-Dukakis"

That one really burns.
