Don't Drop the Soap," a new, adult-themed board game based on life in prison, is being sold out of the Kansas governor's mansion.
Gov. Kathleen Sebelius and her husband, Gary, support the efforts of their 23-year-old son
John Sebelius in creating and marketing the game, Sebelius spokeswoman Nicole
Corcoran said Friday.
Gov. Kathleen Sebelius' 23-year-old son John Sebelius has created an adult-themed board game, "Don't Drop the Soap," and is selling it out of the governor's mansion. The game, which has a prison theme, is being sold for $34.99, plus
packaging, shipping and handling.
"Kathleen and Gary are very proud of their son John's creativity and talent," Corcoran said. "He began this game as a class project at the Rhode Island School of Design, and he's now turned
into an entrepreneur."
The Web site says John Sebelius can be
contacted at 1 S.W. Cedar Crest Road
in Topeka, which is the address of the
governor's mansion.
The Gilius Web site describes "Don't Drop the Soap" as a game "Where no one playing enters through the front door!"
"Fight your way through 6 different exciting
locations in hopes of being granted parole," the site says. "Escape prison riots in The Yard, slip glass
into a mob boss' lasagna in the Cafeteria, steal
painkillers from the nurse's desk in the Infirmary,
avoid being cornered by the Aryans in the Shower Room, fight off Latin Kings in Gang War, and
try not to smoke your entire stash in The Hole."
The Gillius Web site indicates the game includes five tokens representing a bag of cocaine, a andgun and three characters: wheelchair-using 'Wheelz,"
muscle-flexing "Anferny" and business suit-clad "Sal 'the Butcher.' "
She said Kathleen and Gary Sebelius think their son's work is interesting and creative, especially the shirts he designs by hand.

Will other news outlets in Kansas pick this up and run with it. They should. With it, Kathy's poll numbers will take a hit.

I looked at the website. This isn't offensive. And, Cedar Crest is where the kid lives. This isn't a big deal. The article - and this post - misrepresent what's happening here.
If a conservative Republican's kid had a game called "Don't Drop the Soap," complete with stereotypical characters of minority groups, the liberals on these boards would be filled with (fake) outrage.

Gee, that's so creative. I guess the "Don't flash your legs" game is next, where players can take turns raping women who ask for it by bending over in public. Nothing wrong with that, right?? "We're so proud of his creative genius. It's just a game."
She is "allowing" her 23 year old son? "Allowing"?? For God sakes, he's 23 years old. I'm sure he doesn't have to ask for his mother's permission.

Well having a private business run out of the Governor's mansion would make one wonder why his mother has allowed this.
Also now drug dealing and prison rape is a game for Democrats????
It doesn't appear to charge sales tax either, didn't Governor Sebelius' administration create the internet destination tax?
Anyone who finds this game offensive should kill themselves.
